Why do you consider someone offering words of spiritual guidance a "vulture"?

[/ QUOTE ]

Because they always seem to hover about the sick and injured

[/ QUOTE ]

Correct - but vultures intend to eat the sick and injured after they die. That's a world of difference from bringing a message of hope and life. And if the person doesn't want to hear it, he or she doesn't have to listen. What if the vulture is actually a caladrius? True, some people pull themselves up by their bootstraps, but most who overcome addiction learn to rely on a higher power. Why knock someone for saying that?

[/ QUOTE ]

Only the weak-willed need believe in the higher power that religion preaches. The truth still eludes us all.
