I'm separating the responses to your post- you'll see the other one as a new thread.
I agree with most of what you replied with, of course. My original problem with Rosenbloom's statement is that he is repeating the prattle that always comes out when a new face appears. I may have too high of an expectation level for his reporting/investigative abilities, but I expected him to do a little more research into who is doing the winning.

We've seen enough of the snapshot articles about poker, with no real reporting work being done and no real appreciation for the skill that goes hand-in-hand with "luck"
