Everything is not as it seems. I am a dominant masochist, if you can follow that. You see, she gets to be sadistic, but I'm the puppetmaster in the background. What she does is what I want her to do (although it's what she enjoys as well)
A masochist enjoys pain and/or humiliation. But that doesn't mean they're actually submissive, they may only "play" that role.
It's kind of like how people confuse Communism with Democracy (one being a form of economy, the other being a form of government)
