First, there is an error in the original post. I made my deposit and began playing on 6/12/06 NOT 6/5/06 as originally stated.

As originally stated, I am NOT going to receive any money back. Writing the original post virtually assured that. I am not pursuing the matter with WSEX any futher. Whether I deserve to receive some back or not is certainly debatable. Your beliefs into the matter are your own, I do not wish to debate it. Hoping, or not hoping, I receive anything back changes nothing.

Coming into a game, a player is required to post a big blind. Circumventing this is cheating. You are receiving hands you are not suppose to receive. I do not see this as a grey area at all. Doing it once by mistake is excuseable; however, doing it for 2.5 hours straight is not. To the poster who was suspended without merit, I am sorry that WSEX does not have the necessary people in place to deal with this matter.

How did I not notice? I have no idea. Even when I knew something was up, it took me some time to see it exactly. I had to go back to pokertracker and look at the sequences of hands of players doing 'something'. I later confirmed it by watching actual games. Quite frankley, had there not been a single player who did it continually for 2.5 hours, I might not have noticed. In pokertracker the easiest ones to see have a few hands in multiple sessions with 0 dollars won. This is in the session notes tab. In games where the player came in and out in the same seat, you must cycle through the game in the replayer as Pokertracker tends to put them together as a single session.

I will not name any of the players. It is not my responsibility. It is not why I wrote the original post.

The part that really gets me is that the site knew of the problem. They knew players were utilizing it and yet they did nothing to stop it. They did not fix the software, they did not watch the games, and when questioned, told me they would look into it. The truth is they do not care and/or are unable/unwilling to deal with the situation. Had I not written the testy email, I would never have gotten a real response. I believe they are negligent in their responsibility to provide a fair game.

I will not be playing at WSEX again. IMO, if they are unable to do anything about such blantant cheating, they have no chance in stoping other, more subtle, forms. I believe cardrooms have a responsibility in protecting the player, in that regard WSEX has failed.
