first off, nice post, with some food for thought here. With the clarifications of your intent of your post I think you have succeeded well. Point 2 though, is a little wrong isn't it? To my knowledge, SSH was never made out to be "totaly geared towards online play"?
However... I'd like to ask you just how important you think these numbers are? What's the cause and what's the effect?
Are these players winning players BECAUSE they have these numbers
OR
Do these players have these numbers BECAUSE they are winning players?
Do you see what I'm getting at? Is it their overall postflop ability that separates them from the 1BB/100 herd, or do you think it is just blind stealing/defense?
Its a helluva difference (I would guess..) between playing J5s from the BB in a 6-way raised pot, and defending with it HU against an MP raiser. If the former situation occurs more frequently, it is still the postflop ability to play weak hands w/ great potential well, that makes them +2BB/100 instead of 0.75BB/100.
