Man, love your post...the above is wrong. 'Waiting for Godot' was written by Samuel Beckett, an Irish playwrite who lived out his twilight years in Paris. I think you should write a book about your journey, and please keep writing here. Good luck.

Since when was Waiting for Godot ever obscure, especially among the college-educated?
Also, when describing his childhood, Samuel Beckett said "I had little talent for happiness." Sounds a lot like the OP's problem. It seems he's suffering from some form of depression. My suggestion is to look to medical science (not Jesus or Allah or Vishnu or Anansi or any of that) for a solution, as such solutions do exist.
And while he's at it, he should stay the hell away from computers and casinos.
