The daughter being a retard? It was the father who got her a passport for a trip that he later found out didn't exist. Furthermore, it was a trip to Canada, everyone knows you don't need a freaking passport to go to Canada! You don't even need ID, you could write your name on a piece of paper and draw a smiley face and get in.
Edit: If anyone doubts the Canada thing is true, I drove up to Canada in College (post sept. 11th) with some friends. One of them, after we had driven like 5 hours, realized that she didn't have her driver's license with her. They let her through at the border with us when she showed like her credit cards, and a library card, I [censored] you not.
