Re: Pokerroom boycott!
A boycott is going to do nothing to change the situation. If you don't care about Poker Room, then moving on to another site is obviously the best action. If you like playing there and want the rake to return to something that isn't a complete rip-off, I see just one way to have some impact on Poker Room's thinking.
Continue playing at Poker Room, but on every table you play be sure everyone knows what they've done to the rake. Chat them up. Educate them on just how sneaky Poker Room has been with this new rake structure. Mention how they decided to implement it right after a reload bonus, totally screwed with the points, and then changed the terms of the bonus after the fact. I'm not sure it will work, but if enough people complain -- and it's going to take a lot more than just 2+2'ers -- it might get their attention.
Actually, there is a second way that I'm sure would get their attention, but the last time I mentioned it someone rather forcefully wished me ill, so I don't think I'll bring it up again.
