One advantage to checking is that if by some chance it comes back two to you, you can get away cheaply. But I don't think this will happen very often.

I think another advantage of checking the river is that if BB bets and CO calls, we can probably fold, at least I wouldn't like our chances having to make an overcall here.

However, I think betting is still probably better, since no worse hands will bet, but many who have called so far will call, and we can pretty confidently fold to a raise.
