I am sorry for your loss and don't want to come off as cold-hearted but these situations are extremely rare compared to the typical call which is disruptive to the game. I seldom see individuals who can multitask at the table.

Cell phone use slowing down games is far more common than generally disruptive players. At least at the places I play.
