I've noticed this too on Party, and also the Cryptos. The growth in online poker has slowed significantly since the lucrative days back in the summer '04.
Less new players signing up means fish at the lower limits.
Also the information available to new players has increased substantially so most of the other players at your table will probably have read the same books you have, use Pokertracker, and browse the same forums etc.
These things gave the informed player a distinct advantage in the past - but if everyone has the same info, that information no longer becomes an advantage.
Ed Miller argues that there is an large influx of players turning pro and they will become unstuck in a few years when there is little dead money left, and the pickings become very thin.
I play on several differnt sites, but if there look to be poor games on one site, I'll check another.
