I think that the later posts are getting to the bottom of this. The car is absurdly pricey, the gas is absurdly pricey(even worse right now with 3.50/gallon), the upkeep is ubsurdly pricey, the insurance is upsurdly pricey. Why would anyone throw all this money into a car if they aren't racing it??? oh ya, cuz they are tools. I love it when I see a dude pulling into Target in a viper. It just looks freaking retarded...

Why does it look retarded? Should he not be at Target because he has a Viper? Would a BMW at Target look retarded to you? What about an Audi? Acura? NSX is retarded but RSX would be ok to you right? Where is the line that you draw in terms of cars that would be ok and cars that would look retarded at Target?

I was not aware that audi's and BMW's sold for 90,000 dollars or that they got 12 miles to the gallon. The reason it is retarded is because the purchase is a practice in vanity. You can take your kids to school in a bmw, there is trunk space for your groceries in a bmw. You can easily make it through the drive thru of a jack in the box in a bmw. Also you will have places to put your burger, fries and drink when you do this. A viper has a hard time doing any of these things. The car is completely impractical and I make the assumption that a person driving one will be vain, recently divorced, mid-life crisis, small pecker, etc... etc... OP asked what girls REALLY think about guys in these cars. And unless they are gold diggers, they think the things I previously mentioned.

So, do you buy all your clothes at Wal-Mart? If not, STFU.
