Was able to make it to Argosy for the first time today. Not a bad set-up, but they have some learning to do. Floor was extremely slow in doing anything (swiping for comps, getting your name on a list and even in seating you). Their grand opening is tomorrow and they are supposed to be starting tournaments tomorrow as well (including a head-hunting tournament when you get paid for knocking someone out...not too sure of the details).

Besides some minor adjustments that need to be made, I would say Argosy has a good room. I heard with the new boat they are supposed to get like 40 tables (and trying for WOSP circuit or WPT events).


And for those of you interested, the bad beat jackpot is up to about $9000.

Thanks for the info. I did give them a ring tonight to ask about tournaments upcoming. I think that tourney is a 115 buyin and they plan to use 8 tables. So 8k prizepool sounds about right.
