Formal debates have moderators, conversations do not. You can't honestly throw an idea out for conversation, and then bitch about the conversation you get. If you want the responses limited or structured, restructure the questions as T/F or multiple choice.

This is OOT, lest we forget. This is the last place in the world anyone should expect, let alone require, that a conversation stay on topic.
