as allan said K8 is in the top 25 percent of hands. so if the guy is raising 50 percent of his hands, most of the time you hand is good (factor in the added money) and you shoud call. Its similar to a scernario where you know someone is bluffing but you have a hand like A3. The thing is some of the time you are going to see 3 8 or something. Yeah the other times its basically a coin flip against his 9 10 or something but the dead money compensates you for this also.

From what i understand you never really get a chance to talk with the other players alone when your at the final table so making a deal is basically impossible unless your friends with the fellow player or you can really trust the guy and you worked out something the night before.
