I agree with this. Why else would they send Michael in to get him back? If he meant nothing, I'm sure they'd just say [censored] him.

If he is so powerful why would they send him to do something so dangerous, instead of some scrub? I think he was telling the truth when he said something along the lines of "they'll never give you Walt, I failed, I'm already dead...".
