This effect is taken into account when they take temperature measurements. The idea is to figure out if the temperature of the atmosphere is changing (global warming is the increase of temperature in the atmosphere, not of the Earth itself). So they have some kind of factor by which they reduce the measured temperatures to take this into account. Whether this factor is accurate or not is obviously up for debate.
Anyways, my theory is that Froot Loops taste different when you can see the different colours, but when you close your eyes they all taste the same.
