Re: Hail Commodus! We who are about to die salute thee!

I've got a growing list of coordinates for other bases as well.
Has anyone thought about putting a map together? I started a pretty basic one in excel and it's been pretty handy so far. Any base I pass by gets noted. The owner's name, I color code it depending on the fortification level, and there's another color if I got caught spying.
If everyone in the alliance contributed to something like this we could map out huge portions of the world which would be great for searching out people you want to hit up.

I'm not sure it would be worth the effort. From what I have read the grid is 500x500 so that is 250,000 squares. But I did have a different idea.
I am trying to map a trapline so to speak. When I leave my base I want to land on bases I can attack and get money from, and mountians so I can search for cash and to lower my wanted level. I don't want to waste moves landing on swamps and junk. Each day I play I try to refine my trapline to optimize the moves I get.
I also have mapped the stores that are closest to my base. When I am very far from home and have enough money for an upgrade and only have a few moves left I can return to my home base and go straight to a store and buy the upgrade to get rid of my money before I have to fend off attackers.
If we each worked on our own lines we could share them with eachother. The important info would be the location, square type, strength and name of all bases if known. Other teams have noted that this is an XML webpage and the info could be retrieved and a program could be made to sort it but I don't think we need to put the work in to do this. I am watching one of the larger teams that is trying this and I will just steal a copy if they make one.
I'm really not sure if this is worth the effort I would like to hear what others think before we commit to trying something like this. If we do try it we need to all be using the same method to get the most out of it imo.
There are some hacks out there I am sure that is why they don't let people use firefox anymore.
