Re: this chick is fat, yo

Guys - I'm curious why the hate for ms. Duck? Would you make similiar crass comments in real life in the presence of a woman? I doubt it.
And how about speaking your mind? There are countless thoughts that pass through our heads every minute. Why express the negative thoughts that serve no other purpose than to demean a person you don't even care about? Isn't there something more positive you could say? It's very clear, based on the big discussion recently about reducing caca posts in OOT, that many us of us should practice a bit more self censorship. So even though I might see a picture of a stranger and think to myself "Gee, that's a fat dumb bitch", is there any useful purpose served in broadcasting this thought in cyberspace? I for one would gladly refrain from expressing these thoughts if it meant not alienating the few females who do post here.
And as for the argument of "even if I don't say it, I'll still believe it", listen to some Anthony Robbins motivational CDs.

Boris - if the OP were simply about asking for a greater level of civility when rating women's looks, that's fair and clearly not flame worthy. But this is being tied into a greater social question of how this type of discourse is "promulgating misogyny". There's some truth in that, but the argument hasn't been made well. That's where the flaming happened.

I see you are sticking to the "no bro" form of address. A man of his word. (Though I never thought bro was condescendin on any level.)
