I don't think he's a musical savior, trust me.

But it speaks to my point that in defending Elliot, you can only rip someone else. Elliot reminds me, EVERY TIME he's on stage, of a high school kid in a lame production of Brigadoon. There are times when Kat reminds of this as well. There are times when Taylor reminds me of a lounge singer, but there are times when he is a hell of a lot of fun to watch and listen to.

Regarding best songs, etc...

We're all a little short-sighted if we think Kat's OTR was the best song ever performed on the show. It was easily, easily the best of the night, and perhaps her best this year. But I can't imagine a more impressive vocal performance than BB's a capella song last year. Unreal. And I would think we could remember others that were better.
