I saw him once when he was here for spring training. I'd heard he is a total slob, so putting on a suit for Sunday Night Baseball was a bit of a chore for him. Anyway, he was sitting outside a grocery store, dressed and looking like a total beach bum, as advertised. I interrupted his dinner to tell him how awesome I thought he was. We chatted for a minute. Seemed like a cool cat.
