But also, Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper are outstanding as well. As former players, they have a great feel for the game and Krukow is usually spot on on his pitching analysis. They can be "homers" every once in awhile, but Kruk can make a boring or out of reach game enjoyable. My wife isn't a huge baseball fan, but she does like watching games where they are announcing. So I'll say they have cross-over appeal as well.
Spot on about Kuiper and Krukow.They also have some good schtick when the game is slow.
Chick Hearn during the Magic Johnson "showtime" era was a joy to listen to.
