Alright, I'll find that bastard first thing tomorrow morning. I think going with a fort/stealth attack/attack strat is best at the beginning. You don't have enough money to protect so why worry about it early on. Once you get successful attacking and stealing sizable coin, then you start to build your fortifications.

You DO need to protect your money long enough to get the upgrades though, hence lvl 1 fort.
