That one does double as a dining room table, it comes with a top which is similar in appearance to the table legs which sits atop the poker surface and works just fine for eating, paying bills, playing Monopoly, or whatever else. It's pretty permanent--you are not going to want to move this table once you have it set up. (It's 7.5 feet long, which is pretty close to the size of a stud table.) I'm happy with the quality, and would definitely consider it nice for the money. Guess I don't understand your objections.
