If he really is a solid regular (TAGish) I don't except him to have Q9 in sb here most of the time. I don't like a check behind here at all, but I'd definately bet smaller, probably like ~550 to make it easier for people to put a move on you since you look less comitted. You'd obviously bet something like that with AA/AK here for example, right, so it doesn't make sense to bet 700. If you'd bet 700 with those holdings as well it makes sense, but then I'd suggest you chance that as well, and I don't really think you do.
As played, I call. Not buying him c/c:ing flop with a set when button cold called, so he'd have to have exactly Q9 to beat me, or some lame passively played AQdd. And, given his image/stats, as already stated, I don't think he's gonna have q9, based on preflop action, a whole lot. He could just as easily have some passively played KQ or a passively played K-high flushdraw just as well.
