I see what El D is talking about, and it makes sense. You seemed like a really good guy on PPM and I know you have no malicious intent whatsoever.

However, I have 2 points that I want to share with you just to get you thinking. About a year and a half ago my friends girlfriend, whom I had never met, IMed me for some asisine reason. Anyway, so started one day talking to me about her problems, and one thing lead to another, and bad I was talking to her everyday. THis guy was a good friend of mine at the time, but is a terrible boyfriend (conplusive cheater, had 3 girlfriends at the time.) So anyway, she would IM me every freaking day, and being a good friend, I didnt want her to brake up with him, so I stuck it out and made her happy every night. Granted this girl has more issues than time and more problems than a math book, but still, I felt I was being a good friend. After a while, I started to develop a pretty strong emotional relationship with this girl, and every time I tried to stop it, she would flip. Anyway, one day I just decided that was it, and a week later they broke up. It lead to a lot of problems btwn us b/c there came a time where she would turn to me with ALL her problems, and not him, and I knew more about her than he did. MORAL: Talking to the girl like this can lead to problems with your good buddy. It just snowballs and can lead to more problems than its worth

Story 2: My (different) friend just got a girlfriend. They hooked up for a while and eventually lead to a relationship. Anyway, a few weeks ago he asked if I wanted to go to a movie and to the mall, for no apparent reason, other than just to chill. So as we are walking to my car, she shows up, and voila, I was the third wheel. It sucks, remember that. When we got to parties and stuff, usually me him and her leave together, and Ill admit, its weird. Even when other friends are around, it might still be weird for you. Keep that in mind.

If I was in your shoes, I would ask my friend. Hes not gonna say no, but its a courtesy. You should go and drink a couple of white russians and jack and cokes, and not still any this time.
