his flop check is suspicious and thus more weight should be given to him having an overset on the turn so I think you can probably just call his 3-bet and call a river. Actually looking at it, it appears you guys play with a cap HU so capping isn't that bad as he can't 5bet.
I think this hand was pretty well played for somebody new to limit though.
