Damn good post.

When I go to the show, I'm going to do just what you recommended at the mall. Go up to pretty much everyone, see what they like about the show, hang out. I think it'll be a lot of fun and it should be interesting to see the results. I'll post a trip report to see how everything goes. I'm definitely good at asking questions, it's just the first question that's usually the hardest for me. At the show, "What do you think of this music?" should be a good starter.
