Actually Uncle Sam is only taking:
15% of the amount over 7,300 up to $29,700
25% of the amount over 29,700 up to $71,950
28% of the amount over 71,950 up to $150,150
33% of the amount over 150,150 up to $326,450
Then 35% of the rest.

Your assuming I am unemployeed. Besides the ~(about) pretty much sums up the difference those lower rates are going to make. Now the big question is can they make you file as a pro (hello medicare taxes [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img])
