FWIW - I didn't reply much earlier because when I discovered this thread it was already 36 pages long. Then it took me another 5 days to get caught up. I had a ton to say about "Inside?" but alas it was all in the past. I spoke up when it looked like that chick was cheating on the love of her life and was getting ready to be TWed.

I'm not making a big morality play about hooking up with some girl on myspace and embarassing her by showing her this thread. Kinda sh1tty, but also pretty damn funny. You can get away with a lot more when something is funny. And I've thought this thread was hilarious from the beginning. Although I'd say, at least personally, that it was a lot funnier when you just talked about doing it, then now that you've actually done it. I bet a lot of lurkers and posters, who are too scared of you guys to say anything, would probably agree. Some of the thread participants already have expressed that.

My big issue, which I will never waver on - is that knowingly actively breaking up a relationship between two people who at least seem drippingly in love and will probably both be suicidal - is way way over the line. IMO - just because something is planned, doesn't mean you shouldn't stop every now and then to reevaluate whether you're going too far or not. Now thankfully there was a miscommunication and this wasn't the case. But you can't just absolve yourself of any moral responsibilty (for lack of a better term) by saying "get out of this thread", "that's the rules of the thread", "where were you earlier?" or "don't be hatin". If that were the case you could substitute a thread about "trainwrecking" with a thread about "[censored] nine year olds", or "lynching black people" and all your arguments would still hold. Hey it's the rules of the thread. This is OOT. Just go away if you don't like it. Right?

If a relationship falls apart b/c of what some idiots from an internet forum say then the relationship was not meant to be. Similarly if the dude breaks up b/c she banged some dude before him then the relationship was not going to last.

Just a reality check.
