Default Re: Full Tilt $100NL - TA-P opponent on a draw and I\'ve got squat

I've been reading and re-reading this hand, and i'm thinking he might have had 55 or 77 now. He's not the sort of player who would limp Axs UTG, so it was either a small/mid pair or higher suited connectors.

Who better to 3-barrel bluff than a predictable weak-tight player like this? You can stick them on a range PF, and their actions are in line with their hands. I disagree that waiting for them to make mistakes is the way to play. Full Tilt is a lot more passive post-flop than party so splashing around a bit is important to grow and maintain your action. I'm not saying I was "right" on this hand, but I don't hate it.

I made a read and I stuck to it. This was not a total donk, it was a predicable player with very tight stats. Forcing mistakes is necessary against these guys to get blood from the rocks.

Yes, that means I don't know what he had, and he did indeed fold to the river bet.
