This has me curious. I don't really believe in any of these newly diagnosed illnesses that all of a sudden 50% of the population has. But I may have some kind of ADD. I am very very easily distracted and not really comfortable unless I'm doing 20 things at once. But computer programming has been such a perfect occupation, because I think it's one of the only thing that can pull me into complete focus. When I first started learning internet programming, I would listen to techno music and just completely zone into trying to figure out the programming problems in front of me. I would often listen to the same CD 2-3 times because I couldn't be bothered with trying to pick one and then loading it up. 8 hours would go by in a heartbeat. I believe this could be hyper-focus?

Anyway, this has my wondering if I should stop watching TV and surfing 2p2 while playing and start listening to music. I'm wondering if anyone else has opinions/experience on these different environments.

I just wish PS would hurry up and send my damn dell gift cert, so I can get my laptop and start 8-tabling. Then I don't think TV or 2p2 will be much of an option.

I alwaya listen to music when I play poker. When I don't it feels like I'm grinding, or I'll think to much. Keeps my in groove or something I guess
