[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Daniel N. is amazing.

"you you have JJ right?"

Daniel called a 9k pre flop raise with KTd. The board came QTrag, Antonio bet 15k and Daniel puts him all in having 2nd pair. Before he called, Antonio indicated he could beat AT but couldn't beat KQ. That's the point Daniel put him on Jacks. Antonio was the one who raised pre-flop, what's so amazing? The funny thing is Daniel's bet would have worked if he kept his mouth shut. As it is he got lucky and won the pot anyway.

I'm wondering why, when Antonio asked to see a card, Daniel didn't show him the King. Mayebe he thought he needed an Ace to represent TPTK to go along with his All-In. But later on he figured the King was good enough to represent KQ for the purposes of making Antonio feel better after folding. I'm guessing Daniel half sold himself on the adequacy of showing the King and went with a compromise Induce-Fold show. He was too focused on whether the King was good enough to show to realize he was making a blunder with the Induce-Fold play.

Or maybe he thought Antonio would read the Induce-Fold as a double reverse. Or then again, maybe Daniel was figuring Payoffs for his Sidebets.

Should have shown him the ten. That would really mess with his mind.
