The answer is different for everyone. At first, you'll be overwhelmed by two tables and wonder how anyone does it. Your ROI will drop some. Then you'll get used to it. By the time you work up to 4-6 tables, playing one table will be so boring your ROI will probably drop from lack of focus. 4 tables should be playable for just about anyone while still allowing for full attention to the games. Just try it. If you're beating the 22's at all, multitabling them shouldn't turn you into a loser.

For me, Poker Tracker+PokerAceHUD=reads.
