But the flop decision affects the overcards in other ways as well. For example calling would be very successful if you turned a jack or ten, the overcards checked, and one of the limpers sticks in a bet with a piece or draw. Now you get to put in a killer raise and destroy the field including the PFR.

I'm sure there are other good arguments why the overcards favor either calling or raising.
