Interesting thread. I seem to be way too tight in early position.
I started out by roughly following fimbuls advice in this old thread when I started cash-gaming:
fimbulwinters pre-flop play
It advocates rather tight raising standards UTG and UTG+1 and rather loose raising standards in LP. It has served me well, but maybe I'm loosing value by being too tight in EP. There are too many good players here with much looser raising standards UTG than mine, so I guess so [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] .
