Perhaps there was one prior to me 1980 but if there is please enlighten me. Also do NOT mention Ohio State vs Miami, while that was a great game it isnt even close to this. Also, the fact Ohio State didnt really win the game (they won on a Phantom Pass Interference Call) ruins that game. This was easily the a Top 3 best game ever and IMO # 1.

A phantom call, unlike Vince's pitch from the knees? Granted they probably would have scored anyway, OSU was on the bad end of one call in regulation as well. Stupid officials. Too many "what-ifs" in both situations.
