Will the net effect of this action be for Party and the European based sites to focus on attracting growth from the far east? China for example? They have to recover their revenue from somewhere,...

I can see one benefit. On sites like VC, the fixed payout freerolls should have fewer players if the americans disappear.... Also sites like Ladbrokes which only accept European players could grow...

I think the problem is that Party's European business is dependent on Europeans seeing it as completely clean and legal. They don't want to risk alienating their European business with bad publicity.

Also, should the law get overturned (WTO or whatever means), Party Gaming could turn out to be a great buy right now.
