Re: Playing MTT and Cash online simultanously..
I play both sometimes when I need to take out some agression. I play 3 tables of 1/2 nl and when I get a bad beat or running bad I'll register for a $1 tournament. If I get a bad beat in the...

Re: Need advice on poker
I advise you first to understand the difference between cash games and tournaments. A lot of people hold tournaments at home which requires players to be quite loose when their stack drops below a...

Re: The long term future of Online poker
Obviously the external environment (US Laws, Netteler, Etc.) has made it extremely difficult for online poker to grow or even stay at its current position. With a lot of people drawing out of online...

Re: Calling reraises preflop
Fold. This violates any odds as you'd be committing almost 10% of your stack. As KEW said before, no implied odds anymore.

Re: 66 pf
First call good, second is bad.
If the guy before didn't call the 10, you could have folded since it violates pot odds. But with the reraise, that's a definite fold, based on both reads and pot...

Re: NL50 can\'t win a hand wtf
[ QUOTE ]
sorry, but you deserve this for limping utg
[/ QUOTE ]
That's completely untrue. You have no pos, and only a suited connector. Why raise? Limp is correct.
You played this great,...

Re: KQ turn play
I second carnival.
Pot bets should be used sparingly, and never as a cont bet if you hit nothing.
But if you say he is capable of folding postflop, lead again on the turn or checkraise if you...

Re: 1/2 Live - I flop the sucker straight
Preflop odds has nothing to do with what's to come. You don't know if it's 2 bucks to lose 137 more or 2 bucks to win 137 more at that point.
I mean, it's certainly not wrong to fold preflop in...

Re: 1/2 Live - I flop the sucker straight

Incase anyone is wondering why this hand should be folded pre-flop, it is because 43s has reverse implied odds, this hand is a perfect example of that.

Re: 100nl deep - flopped straight, paired turn
He could have 33, 66, 77 all of which would beat you. Also, he could be an aggressive player and raise with TP nut flush draw (A7c). 67 for top two is another hand he could have had.
His smallish...

Re: Couple hands that got to me NL 200 Stars
AK is usually standard to call preflop.
Usually preflop, I'll reraise KK for sure, and depending on my read on the other guy, I'll either call or reraise AA (call in the case I know he's a...

Re: 1/2 Live - I flop the sucker straight
Don't fold pf, you're priced in to call.
Why would the nut straight play that way? An all-in push will scare away any potential callers. If I had the nut straight, I would try to find a way to...

Re: 200NL - AK line check
I'm not feeling the re-reraise to 54 preflop. Call his reraise, and maybe lead on the turn to see what he does. I've found that AK screws me most of the time, and you want to minimize what you put in.

Re: Couple hands that got to me NL 200 Stars
1. You say he's not aggro, so it seems AQ isn't a likely hand, as you said. If you're daring enough, you could even raise his flop bet to see where you are. But calling to probe on the turn isn't a...
