I have been playing $10-$50 buy in MTTs occasionally playing a $100-$150 buy in strictly on PokerStars. Since I mainly play in the evenings (EST), sometimes my options as far as MTTs are limited so...

Re: What\'s the Right Move Here? Final Table of $20K Guaranteed $3R

The raise he made here was his standard raise every time. He never once put it all in. Also, no one up until that point had played back at him since it was always for all of their chips and most...

What\'s the Right Move Here? Final Table of $20K Guaranteed $3R

The BB has been very aggressive and doing alot of restealing, especially against me since there were about 16 players left. Everytime I raised and he played back at me previously, I had folded. Is...

C bets are supposed to be half the pot as well instead of 2/3 or 3/4.

Do I get this right? You usually C-bet 1/2 pot, but bet more when you actually have a...

Re: Just. Bet. Pot.

I think always betting the pot post flop is a losing practice in the long run. You're not giving yourself odds if he raises and you've committed too much money if you intend on folding to a raise or...

Re: Just. Bet. Pot.

For one, a continuation bet is usually a bluff you make after raising preflop and missing the flop. C bets are supposed to be half the pot as well instead of 2/3 or 3/4. I'm not too sure what...

This is just about the easiest fold ever. He can have the straight, a boat, or even a bare king. Hes pushing into two people on the river, making a bluff pretty unlikely. Calling here...

Is This an Overbet or Bluff? What would you do?

Now I know I probably made a mistake in this hand on the flop, but I just want to know what you would do on the river to the villains push. The villain hadn't shown any crazy hands and hasn't made a...

Re: Petition to Change PokerStars MTT Time Bank Policy

I can see certain issues with 90 secs so then I would agree with Ansky and the 30 secs every hour up to 30 secs. I just think late in a tournament, you should be allowed to think for more than 20...

I think it should be 30 seconds every hour. The most you can have is 30 seconds, but if it falls below that at every break it gets refilled. I don't think should just keep adding 30...

Petition to Change PokerStars MTT Time Bank Policy

OK guys, I'm sure that I'm not the only one who has been unfortunate enough to disconnect in the middle of a hand early in a Stars MTT where it was a clear fold, but your whole time bank is used...

Re: Standard Agreement When Staking Someone in Poker (HELP PLEASE!)

So if it's a stake, then 50-50 seems like the fair amount but as a loan, the standard is 15-20 for the banker? This is more of staking along the lines of the banker giving a few thousand to the...

Re: Standard Agreement When Staking Someone in Poker (HELP PLEASE!)

If I were to guess it would be something like...

1) 60-40 for staking
2) 85-15 or 80-20 for lending

Do those numbers make any sense?
