A question on LOST/Halliburton suitcase

This suitcase, is it really that hard to open? Any videos of real-life demonstrations?

I feel like only a hitman would ever buy something like that.

i just watched the first season of lost over the weekend and have a related question.

if sawyer can pick "any" lock - with the exception of the halliburton - then why does the korean dude continue to have that handcuff on for like 10 episodes?

Yeah, Sawyer doesn't like anybody (well, except Kate maybe) and doesn't really care if Jin has handcuffs on or not. I am sure he would take it off if Jin was willing to pay him in some way.

God, lost is the best show ever.
