Beer Pong Rules Question

After playing a lot over spring break I was lucky enough to get a little round robin action going in our dorm. Configuration was first bracket 6 cup 4 beer (I know, i thought it was a bit much too), second bracket 10 cup 6 beer, and finals 10 cup 8 beers. Obviously the amount of beer we used was not normal, but thats not the issue. Some of the kids I was playing with insisted that

1) bounces were never allowed
2)one throw per turn, that is only one person from each team can go before switching turns, as opposed to both throwing per turn.
3)blowing out the ball was not allowed

Now my father raised me to think that you can always bounced, both players (in a team game) throw before turns end, and blowing, or even picking, was allowed. This isn't just a "house rules" thing, because it was my dorm and my roomate was one of the people insisting on these weird rules. Whats the norm where you play?

Also, we couldn't agree on a rule about being skunked. And no, beer pong is not a gay-bee frat thing only.

Bouncing is allowed, but they can be swatted. If a bounce shot goes in, it is worth two cups.

Both players on a team shoot per turn. If they both make it, they get both balls back to shoot again.

Bitches blow.

I always played this that you had to bounce once between the two sets of cups before going in. One bounce. No more, no less.

most know it as beer pong, i call it beirut as well, but how many here will know what im talkin about? and yes, blowing is for bitches, but this was a co-ed game, so bitches blew. and one bounce is what i meant i guess. no one dribbles it in, its too easy to swat.

also if you get it into a cup that your opponent is holding (if he's pouring beers into a personal cup for instance), you autowin. and if both players on a team bounce into the same cup, you autowin and the opposing team has to drink your cups.

That's how I always played it.
Also, swatting was never allowed (unless the ball bounced more that once and was heading for the cups). And each player on the team got 1 "toss" per round.

My rules were:

If you bounce it, it can be swatted unless it's a chick then she can bounce.
Both go per turn, you both make it, bring em back.
Bitches blow
Make it in the same cup as your partner, it's auto win, whether the cup is still on the table or is in the opponents hand and not finished

There are no standard rules for this game. House rules always take precedence. Just go with what the majority wants.
