Starting over from scratch.

So due to my ignorance of how taxes change when one is payed on 1099-misc forms, the last 2 years of misfiling caught up with me and cleaned me out. To the point where I had to pitch in my poker bankroll to make up some of the difference. (Note its not a "wah wah I play bad" post) I just was a fool in the past, and paying for it in the present.

Since I enjoy poker far too much to give it up, what do you guys who've had to start over reccomend? Take the next few months to study the source materials until I save from the paycheck a bankroll for my prefered game of 1/2SH (with the occasional 4/8 live commerce run) or take the $100 I have now, and go play nanolimits?

I only play when the mood strikes me. Since its not my primary source of income, and competes with warcraft (ugh) for my time, I don't play 3-8 hours a day, 7 a week. But when I want to play, I want to play. Heh.

Whataya think? What have you other "start overs" done?

I'm paying for being a donk by nano-limit grinding to get unstuck. It can be frustrating, but you feel a sense of accomplishment after doubling your bankroll. I wouldn't jump right back into your game just yet, the nano limits can't hurt.
