Favorite pro?

I am curious to see who everybody's favorite Pro is. Mine is Phil Gordon. He doesn't get a lot of the spotlight or credit that he deserves for his excellent poker mind. He explains theory probably better than anyone I have read yet. I highly recommend his Little Green Book for any beginners.

Does Raymer count as a pro? If so, him.

Otherwise, prolly Daniel N. or Matusow.

I think he counts as a pro. Even though he is still a patent attorney, he does get paid a salary by Pokerstars to appear on their site regularly and endorse them on television. He is another one who I think is underrated

I don't think he's underrated. I think he's highly regarded actually...especially on this site.

On this site maybe. On other forums and in card rooms and such that I have been in, alot of people seem to feel that he was just some lucky doofus.

Raymer is now a full time pro player, unless his job follows him on the road from tournament to tournament in 2005.

I remember reading an interview saying that he kept is job. Maybe he does it pro bono here and there or only handles pre-exsisting clients when he can. Hell, maybe he took a year sebatical, I don't know. I just remember reading that somewhere. Either way, he's a classy guy with a great mind for the game.

Harrington has always appealed to me for some reason. Just seems like the kind of guy that you wouldn't suspect anything too tricky from, and then he makes you his bitch.

Phil Ivey

Just because he's the best and generally looks bored the game is so easy to him.
