Guess I just cant play online poker!?!
 

In referance to yesterday's post (back from Iraq), I e-mailed all the poker sites. They ALL told me NOT to open up another account, or they would close it. I cant remember my old username or e mail address from 2 years ago, so I guess I just cant play at any of the major sites? This sucks..... Any info appreciated, thx.

Might want to try actually calling them up as opposed to e-mailing them in this case.

Also, depending on the room, it might help to sign up through an affiliate (I assume you want rakeback anyway) who might be able to help you out.

Just go ahead and do it. No need to ask them ahead of time.

They aren't going to confiscate your funds or anything if they notice.
You just tell them, "Oh...well I didn't even know my password for my old account of over 2 years ago. I thought it was okay to set up a new one."

i am pretty sure this is standard. they let you REOPEN your old account rather than create a new one. at least thats how it was for me at two sites.

Keep bugging them until you can get someone willing to help you out. SoCal is right about calling them. Stars doesn't have a number, but I normally don't bother emailing Party anymore. I get much better results by calling.

It's POSSIBLE. But I don't think I've heard of it happening to anyone in the past.

If you have a new computer that has no traces of your old accounts on it then I'm guessing you'll be okay.


On Party, if they catch you with a new account they might just force you to go back to the old one and they'll transfer all the money back to that one for you.


i'm guessing it will be the same with other sites.


There are LOTS of people who are no longer on their first/original account on a number of sites.

dude ive had like 6 accounts at party in the last 3 years, like 4 at UB, 3 at stars and paradise...... THEY DONT GIVE A RATS ASS! you'll be fine.
