My little brother always poops his pants.
 

He is 8. He always used to hold his poops for a couple days, and would let out a huge log when he finally did go. We're talking multiple flushes just to break the log in half type of poops.

For maybe the past 4 months, he's always been pooping his pants, whether it be while awake or sleeping. He says he "can't feel it" when he has to poop or not, and it just comes out. I understand if it only happens at night, and just too lazy to get up out of bed and whatnot. He never used to have this pooping problem, until like I said about 4 months ago. WTF is wrong with him?

He needs to face some kind of punishment/humiliation when he poops his pants. If you cut off his nightly ice cream every time he poops his pants i bet he'll magically start feeling it when he needs to take a dump. If dogs can be trained to not poop spontaneously there is no reason a non-retarded 8 year old human cant.

i dont think anyone needs to face degradation or humiliation for pooping their patns and I wouldn't want to humiliate my brother if he were in OP's situation. In fact its kind of cool that he just poops his pants. Its def true that doing something like taking away his nightly ice cream might help but I think the idea of consulting a psychologist or something might be a good idea just to see if this happens in other kids his age.
