Windows - Grouping shortcuts in a folder

I have all the shortcuts to open poker rooms in one folder
they are all jumbled up and i hate it

i know that inside a folder you can right click and then arrange icons by group.
(though, the groups allowed are type of file, date, file name and file size)

is there any way i can modify this "grouping" so that i can group them by:
Poker Network, iPoker network, party, Prima, Crypto, Tribeca
etc?

Not quite the way you mean, but you could rename the shortcuts to NETWORKNAME_ROOMNAME and then sort them alphabetically to see the networks' rooms together.

How about also creating sub folders within the main poker folder by network.

IE have all cryptologics within one folder, which means click on this folder to open it up & see all the sites within, then click 'back' to get to your main poker folder.

You can also assign icons to the various network folders for easy recognition.
