How's my line in this hand?

Villain recently sat down, I don't have a read.

Hero bets, BB raises, Cthulhu calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) 7h (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Cthulhu raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls, Cthulhu caps, Hero calls, BB calls.

River: (16.50 BB) 3c (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, Cthulhu bets, Hero calls, BB folds.

Final Pot: 18.50 BB

With no read, I think I bet the river and call a raise.

No problem with the play. Do you think that villain would raise the turn here with you still to act or would he want to string you along for the river for another bet if he had made his flush? You have the third nut flush. I think you are better here more times than not.

Bet/call river just to be sure that villian doesnt check behind with an Ah.

Looks like Cthulhu made his flush, that's the only thing I could imagine him cold-calling with on the flop, although he might have a set and have tried to raise the turn to get rid of the Ah. Still I think you played this fine, you could have even reraised flop but without nut flush I think this is all good. Cthulhu might have worse flush than you, just keep betting, sometimes a higher flush beats you, usually it doesn't.

Thanks, just wanted to check. Guess I was running kinda bad-I got shown the nut flush.
