Trouble playing vs 46/8/1.2

I have difficulty playing hands vs this type of villains. Maybe it's because I haven't made a hand to value bet them to death. I just sat down and this happened:

------------------
HAND #1
------------------

Full Tilt Poker, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LeggoPoker.com - Hand History Converter

MP: $48.55
CO: $48.45
BTN: $52.25
Hero (SB): $49.50
BB: $33.70
UTG: $65.70

Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB)
UTG calls $0.50, 3 folds, Hero raises to $2.50, BB folds, UTG calls $2

Flop: ($5.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $4.25, UTG calls $4.25

Turn: ($14) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $9.25, UTG calls $9.25

River: ($32.50) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, UTG bets $15, Hero folds

Results: $32.50 Pot ($1.60 Rake)
UTG mucked and WON $30.90 (+$14.90 NET)

I am not sure whether it's a spew betting the turn vs this loose player that doesn't like to fold.

Now to the hand in question. It's similar to hand #1 where 7 doesn't really change the board. Considering history I decided to preserve the bet and get there on the river. I didn't and I'm seriously considering betting this river. With our history in mind is this any good? Comments on both hands are appreciated. Thanks!

Hand 1: Why are you double barreling? Do not try to make stations fold. I probably dont even c-bet that flop against this guy. He doesnt look like he is folding many c-bets and that flop hits alot of stuff.

Hand 2: Looks standard to me. Just give up on the river, see the reason in hand 1.

Re: Trouble playing vs 46/8/1.2

there are times to double barrel even vs a station, and neither of these are one of them

Hand 1, the 7 changes nothing. He doesn't fold a 9, he doesn't fold any draw, and he certainly doesn't fold a 7. If he has bottom pair or an underpair he might fold those, but those are such a small % of his range on this board that it's a horrible spot to double barrel.

Hand 1: c/f turn, don't bluff calling stations
Hand 2: take the free card, check behind on river.

Yeah, the easiest (and almost only) way to suck against a station is by being impatient. Just wait on that big hand to stack them with, it'll get there eventually.

In the mean time just focus on avoiding double barrelling with A high.
