ive been doing this on my desktop for a while. it rules. anyone else like linux?

i have used it off and on, its definately faster than a windows machine, and definately more secure, no need for anti virus, plus you can find most versions for free (and for free meaning legitimate free ware). Downfalls are the obvious lack of support by various programs, and games. But i have used a linux box as a router and file server, and if all you are doing is like word processing and web suffing there is open office which now reads MS office files, and fire fox. what are you using it for just to mess around ?
